Thermova is an active-cooling medical transport case built by THERMOVA GMBH in Munich. It holds temperature-sensitive medicines such as insulin, vaccines, and biologics at 2–8°C for 6–10 hours (depending on ambient temperature) and records a verifiable temperature log for every journey.
The CryoKey is a smart card that lives inside the Thermova Case and continuously measures temperature. It streams telemetry to your phone over Bluetooth and provides an independent double-check of the cold chain — even if the case's main battery is depleted, the CryoKey still holds the full transport history.
Biologics, insulin, mRNA vaccines, and many specialty drugs lose potency or become unsafe after even brief excursions outside 2–8°C. A signed, time-stamped record removes the guesswork for patients, pharmacists, clinicians, and insurers.
6–8 hours in cold environments and up to 10 hours in hot environments, within the 2–8°C range. Powered by a 10,400 mAh rechargeable battery; performance varies with outside temperature and how often the case is opened.
Open the Thermova companion app and generate a signed receipt. It contains the full temperature curve, any excursions, and a cryptographic signature that pharmacies and insurers can verify.
The CryoKey runs on its own battery and keeps logging. You can still inspect the entire transport history afterwards, so a dead case battery never means a lost record.
